Animal sanctuary comes up with a cunning plan to treat Baldrick the baby hedgehog whose spikes never grow. the four month old creature was abandoned by his mother and taken to an animal sanctuary where staff have come up with plan to treat the hedgehog baldness by giving Baldrick a daily massage with oil twice a day to get his spike grow.’Hedgehogs rely on their spikes for protection. An adult hedgehog has between 5,000 and 7,000 spikes so they provide a degree of warmth.
‘He’s not going anywhere until he has got some spikes back.’ He is really adorable and cute hope the next time we saw him he already have spikes.
