The WB-1010 aircraft from designer Reindy Allendra is an entry to the KLM Indonesia aircraft design competition. Looking 85 years into the future, the concept aims to solve the transportation needs for a world with a crowded population. Looking 85 years into the future, there will be even more travelers than now and this aircraft would be able to hold up to 1.500 persons and since it can lift off vertically there will be no need for landing strips. It reminds me a lot of the Zeppelin… It is supposed to reach a speed of 1.000 km/h and harvest some wind energi.
